S venskatt began with a simple observation
We take food seriously in Sweden. We care where it comes from, how it's made and what goes into it. Yet the cat food aisle tells a very different story.
The two main options are heat-blasted bags of kibble or wet food with vague ingredient lists and low amounts of meat. These are products made to sit on a shelf for years, not to meet the needs of obligate carnivores.
And if you want to do better? Your only real option is raw. Which means risky bacteria on your hands, counters and the cat that just ate it.
That's not good enough.
That's why we created Svenskatt. Complete cat food made in Gävle with Swedish meat and MSC-certified fish from northern waters. Every recipe is gently steamed, frozen the same day and portioned around each cat's needs. It's safe to handle, but still very real, 100% fresh food.
